Gay marriage, cure to all state’s ills

I have to admit, the politicians in Illinois sure know how to fix the state’s ills: legalize homosexual marriage.

The worst credit rating of all the states? Under control, we have legal homosexual marriage. Out of control spending? No problem, we have legal homosexual marriage. Pension funding crisis? Got it covered, we have legal homosexual marriage. Businesses leaving the state? Cured, we have legal homosexual marriage.

High rate of gun violence even though we have the strictest gun laws? Going away, we have legal homosexual marriage. Corruption and graft all through state government? Fixed, we have legal homosexual marriage.

The sad thing is that these incompetent boobs have just about sealed their re-election by dangling a shiny bauble in front of a special interest group. However, as the Native Americans who used to live on Manhattan Island found out, the carrot comes with a stick.
