Warren High food drive

During the week of Nov. 18 to 22, members of Warren Township High School student council conducted a Thanksgiving canned food drive benefiting the Warren Township Food Pantry, school officials said in a news release. The goal was to provide many people in Warren Township High School District 121 with a wonderful Thanksgiving. Freshman and sophomore students at the O’Plaine Campus collected nearly 2,800 canned food items. “We are very proud of our students for participating in the food pantry project and making the Thanksgiving holiday special for people in our community,” O’Plaine campus Principal Greg Meyer said. “We are thankful for the students and staff who organized this donation effort and we hope to have made a difference for families who need a little extra help.”
