Dallas office workers got last glimpse of him

I was living and working in Dallas in 1963, and in my downtown office that day the two office girls, Ruth and Gayla, asked to leave to go see the president. I said go. About 20 minutes later I heard cheering and got up to look down about a half block away to see JFK and Jackie go by in an open limousine. Another 20 minutes later every siren went off. Ruth and Gayla came back to the office crying and said something happened to the president.

The next day my wife and I were watching TV as they were moving Lee Harvey Oswald out of the Dallas jail when Jack Ruby shot him in front of the cameras. I will never forget those two days.
