MCC band, chorus to perform fall concert

McHenry County College will host a Band and Chorus Fall Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in the Luecht Conference Center at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The MCC Concert Band, under the direction of Paige Lush, will perform such selections as “Fortuna Imperiatrix Mundi” from “Carmina Burana,” “Commando March,” and “Stomp Your Foot,” with the combined band and chorus. An MCC Ensemble also will perform.

Songs performed by the full chorus include: “The Road Not Taken” from “Frostiana,” “A Place in the World,” and “It Was a Lover and His Lass” from “Madrigals Three.” The MCC chorus is directed by Steve Szalaj.
