Santa’s balloon home at Gurnee Mills

More than 25,000 brightly colored holiday balloons make up Santa Claus’ Gurnee Mills home through Dec. 24.

The Grange Hall display, the first at the Gurnee mall, is made of balloons in various shapes and sizes. They create a sleigh, reindeer, arches, Christmas trees, presents, ornaments, candy canes and snowflakes.

“Gurnee Mills’ Winter Wonderland Santa set was created to spread good cheer and allow families to share in a precious holiday tradition together,” said Chelsie Petereit, director of marketing and business development at Gurnee Mills.

Photos are available with Santa, and prices vary depending on the package. Santa will be at his post during mall hours, except to take an occasional milk and cookie break.

Gurnee Mills is located at 6170 W. Grand Ave. Mall hours and other information can be found at www.gurneemills.com.
