FINAL FOUR: Lori Motyka of West Chicago

Age: 47

Occupation: Marketing director

Faced: Lynn Fors in Round 1 and Mike Baron in Round 2

Favorite ingredient: “Quinoa. I use it in every meal of the day” (in grain cereal in the morning, in salads and as leftovers in a weekend frittata).

Cooking style: “Extremely relaxed. Making dinner is my way to unwind and catch up with my family.”

Challenge outcome: Grinding oats to coat the cod impressed several judges and adding currants to tomatoes, olives and pine nuts impressed one judge in Round 1. The sweet and savory combination of her pizza using sardines, chick peas, raisin and micro greens made her shine in Round 2.
