Outdated family room

Our family room is very outdated, it definitely could use some remodeling.

Usually when it comes to home improvements to the house I try to do them in order save money. Especially since I am retired and have extra time to do these kinds of things. However, I recently had major back surgery and no longer am able to do the things that I was once able to do. Also, due to the expensive surgery, and my fixed retirement income, my family and I do not have the ability to afford to hire someone.

That is why when I came a cross this contest in the paper, I felt that is an amazing opportunity. There are only three of us that currently live in the house, but we have a big family. With having a big family comes a lot of entertaining. We have a lot of events at our house, and the family room is the centerpiece. It would be a great addition to our home and to our family to be able to have a new updated place to enjoy each other’s company. The name of the room says it all, ‘family’ that is what ultimately makes the room so special. Being able to enjoy each other’s company, and have a good time. Being able to make new memories and also be able to reminisce about old ones would be fantastic to do in a new updated family room.
