Lincolnshire prescribed burns
The village of Lincolnshire will conduct multiple prescribed burns during the next two weeks. The burns will take place at Florsheim Nature Preserve, North Park, Old Mill Woods and village hall. These burns are an important method utilized by the village to control invasive species, officials said. Any residents who wish to be notified on the day a particular site is being burned should contact Brad Woodbury, assistant to the director of public works, at (847) 913-2361 and request to be placed on the burn notification list.
