Collins signs 4 to his first Northwestern class

Northwestern has signed four players as part of men’s basketball coach Chris Collins’ first recruiting class.

Forwards Vic Law and Gavin Skelly and guards Bryant McIntosh and Scottie Lindsey signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Coach Collins says the Wildcats have “addressed a lot of needs” and that all four are “are great fits for Northwestern.”

A two-time Chicago Catholic League all-conference pick for St. Rita, Law averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds as a junior. Skelly averaged 16 points as a junior at Westlake (Ohio).

McIntosh averaged 17.9 points last season while leading Greensburg to the Indiana Class 3A championship last season. Lindsey was a Chicago Catholic League all-conference pick as a junior for Fenwick, averaging 12 points.
