Satan happy over same-sex marriage

Some years ago I wrote to the Fence Post and expressed my views — marriage is for a man and a woman — I still firmly believe this and I know that my Lord created man and woman to be together to procreate and establish this earth. Yet there are those in our government who presume to think they are better creators than God.

When these people stand before the throne of the Lord one day, and we all will, they will find out what judgment the Lord will mete out. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah. God did not wait till the end of world to mete out his wrath.

My first thought when reading the headline about Illinois approving same-sex marriage was that Satan must be very happy. Beware when Satan is happy, my friends.

Just look around at the USA, what do you see, nothing but distrust, greed, chaos and hatred for our fellow man, by evidence of the daily shootings and killings that happen, especially in our Chicago area.

All this has happened with each stroke of the pen to bring another of our values to an end. May God forgive and spare us.
