Night life events: Drink it in at DiCarlo fall fest

DiCarlo's Fall Wine, Food & Craft Beer Festival takes place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Doubletree Hotel. The afternoon includes hundreds of wines, dozens of craft beers and bites from local restaurants. $35 per person. Overnight reservations are $89 per night and include complimentary breakfast at Karma Restaurant in the hotel.

D.O.C. Wine Bar's sixth anniversary

In honor of six years in business, D.O.C. Wine Bar is celebrating with $6 glasses of wine, $6 appetizers and free cupcakes throughout the day Wednesday, Nov. 13. D.O.C. Wine Bar is a neighborhood wine bar and bistro and home to more than 1,800 bottles of eclectic wines and more than 30 wines offered by the glass.

H.O.M.E. Bar — the House of Music and Entertainment in Arlington Heights — celebrates its one-year anniversary beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Party with cover band Sixteen Candles. Saturday night drink specials include $3 Newcastles, as well as the specialty cocktail and specialty wine of the month — for $3 each. There's an $8 cover.
