Traveling Chassidim to perform in Buffalo Grove

The Traveling Chassidim are coming to Buffalo Grove for their second annual Saturday night “Havdalah” service 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at Ivy Hall Elementary School, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane. The special “Havdalah” service will feature live music, lively dancing and an after Shabbat buffet for the whole family. The event, a project of the Suburban Alliance for Jewish Education, is open to the public. A donation is suggested.

Last year, the Traveling Chassidim, a New York-based group of Chasidic families who travel the country inspiring and unifying Jewish families from all walks of life, drew enthusiastic reactions to their performance of contemporary Jewish songs, traditional Yiddish classics and heartwarming Chasidic storytelling.
