Give winter wear to Elgin crisis center
The Elgin Fire Department is collecting winter wear for the Elgin Community Crisis Center.
The Elgin Community Crisis Center — which provides safe shelter to women and children who are homeless due to domestic violence, sexual assault or financial crisis — is in need of new and used adult coats, gloves, mittens, hats and scarves, as well as new or gently used bath towels.
Drop off donations at any of the seven Elgin fire stations. Addresses can be found at cityofelgin.org.
