Fremd featured on ABC 7’s ‘Friday Flyover’

Fremd High School in Palatine was the featured school on ABC 7’s “Friday Flyover” this week.

To celebrate high school sports, the station’s helicopter flies over the football field of a local school every Friday, where students and teachers make formations that are visible from the sky.

More than 250 Fremd High School students and staff dressed in pink made three formations starting at 5:30 a.m. Friday.

They were the words VIKINGS, HOPE and FHS, all with a pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness month.
