Lt. governor presents college success guide

NORMAL, Ill -- Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon has unveiled her plan to help Illinois colleges and universities reduce costs and raise their graduation rates.

WJBC radio reported Simon presented her College Completion Playbook on Wednesday at Illinois State University. More than 150 higher education administrators are meeting at the Normal school this week.

Simon visited all four dozen Illinois community colleges and 12 public universities to put together the guide. She says it's meant to offer schools access to national expertise and successful state programs.
