Seeking Applicants for College Scholarship

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago is seeking applicants for the Women's Opportunity Award. This Award is specifically for a female head of household currently living in the northwest and western suburbs of Chicago. The local winner gets further consideration at a district and regional level. Applications are available by contacting Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago at siofsuburban.chicago@soroptimist.net.

Soroptimist International is a volunteer organization for business and professional women dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls, both locally and globally, through programs that result in social and economic improvement. Founded in 1989, the local Suburban Chicago Club is part of Soroptimist International which includes nearly 95,000 Soroptimists in more than 120 countries and territories who contribute time and financial support to community-based projects that benefit women. In addition to participating in the Women's Opportunity Award program, Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago helps women by participating in the Virginia M. Wagner Educational Grant and the GED Grant.
