Huntley, Harvest Christian post wins

Huntley d. Belvidere North: Erin Lyman had 7 kills and 6 digs and Emily Westermeyer added 2 aces, 3 kills and 5 digs as Huntley won 25-13, 25-19 in the semifinals of the Class 4A Rockford Jefferson regional. Kelsey DeWulf added 22 assists, 4 kills and 3 digs for the Red Raiders (23-13), who will play DeKalb Thursday at 6 p.m. for the regional title.

Harvest Christian d. Faith Lutheran: Sydney Doby had 5 aces and 7 kills, Ellie Burzlaff 4 kills and 2 digs and Shayna Manusos 5 aces, 3 assists and 7 digs as Harvest rolled to a 25-7, 25-4 win in the semifinals of its own Class 1A regional Jayde Martinez added 4 aces, 15 assist and 5 digs for the Lions, who will take on Westminster Christian in the 6 p.m. regional final on Thursday.

Westminster Christian d. Alden-Hebron: Claire Speweik had 11 kills and 16 assists and Savannah Dutcher added 6 kills as the Warriors won 25-13, 25-21 in the second semifinal at the Class 1A Harvest Christian regional. Courtney Gnan added 5 kills and Emma Kovachevich had 3 aces and 8 assists for Westminster (21-11-3), which will face top-seeded Harvest Christian at 6 p.m. Thursday for the regional title.
