Palatine High School Craft Fair To Be Held November 2

The Palatine High School Pirate Booster Club presents a Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road, Palatine, IL. For 19 years, the PHS Pirate Boosters presented a craft fair each spring. In 2011 the Booster Club switched to management of the Fall Craft Fair. This year's event marks the 22nd craft fair sponsored by the PHS Pirate Boosters in support of the students of Palatine High School.

More than 150 vendors are scheduled to participate. A wide variety of hand crafted items will be displayed throughout this year's event including crochet, needlework, hand-sewn items, jewelry, gourmet food items, paper crafts and cards, holiday and seasonal décor, purses, scarves, accessories, hand carved wood, candles, pet items, holiday ornaments, hair items, and much more.

Admission and parking are free, and all vendors are placed in the hallways, cafeteria and gymnasium which are all located on the first floor of the school building. Each vendor donates a prize for the Craft Fair Raffle resulting in over 150 prize options. Raffle tickets will be available for cash purchase: 1 ticket for 50¢, 3 tickets for $1, and 20 tickets for $5. PHS Pirate Booster Club also offers a free door prize game to all who attend the craft fair and the PHS Booster Music Committee will be hosting a bake sale to raise funds for their programs. Concessions will be available for purchase including light breakfast items and a newly expanded lunch menu, along with snacks and beverages. The Pirate Treasures School Store will also be open, allowing PHS fans to purchase the perfect holiday items for the Pirate fans in their lives.

Proceeds from the Craft Fair fund programs for all students at Palatine High School. For more information about the Craft Fair, please email Joan Scovic at jscovic@gmail.com, or visit www.phspirateboosters.com.
