Grateful that people stopped to help her

Monday evening I had a flat tire on Anderson Drive in Palatine. A young man stopped to help, and he even went home to get a tire iron. My husband and a friend also came to help.

The tire had a lock on it so the young man, my husband, and a friend couldn’t get the tire off. The young man wouldn’t accept any payment.

A Palatine police officer drove by and then stopped. He told us we could leave the car on Anderson Drive overnight until we had it towed.

Thank you to the young man and police officer who were willing to help. In the midst of what was happening I failed to get their names. However, I didn’t want these good deeds to go unmentioned.
