Make-A-Wish fundraiser:

A fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Midlane Golf Resort, 4555 W. Yorkhouse Road, Wadsworth. The Red Carpet Gala benefit is a formal event to include red carpet entrance, dinner, four-hour open bar, entertainment by Ryan Andreas from Americas Got Talent and guest speakers. Tickets are $100 each and are tax deductive. Activities include silent auctions, raffles, a DJ, dancing and a photographer. Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois which grants wishes for kids with life threatening illnesses. Last year’s event raised $12,000 which funded two wishes and the gaol this year is to grant 10 wishes. Visit http://redcarpetgala.webs.com to buy tickets or make a donation.
