Seniors Brianna Stewart and Oliva Kofie made their Senior Night one to remember, registering 16 kills, 3 aces, 11 digs and a block between them to lead the Larkin girls volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-20 nonconference win over Zion-Benton Monday.
Setter Alyssa McGhee added 22 assists, 3 aces and 8 digs while Alexis Price had 7 kills, 4 digs and 2 blocks for the Royals (17-18).
Wheaton Academy d. St. Edward 25-18, 25-11: The Green Wave (17-13, 6-3) could not get the win at home in this Suburban Christian Conference matchup. Shannon Igielski lead St. Edward with 6 kills, while Megan Barth had 2 aces, a pair of kills and 1 dig. Mallory Gross added 8 assists.
