Many questions remain about concealed carry
I was wondering, in wake of the newly approved concealed carry laws in the state, how is Illinois going to go about enforcing the law? Obviously an applicant will have to possess a FOID card, and then have to take a class or apply to receive a concealed carry permit. How long before we start seeing people on the streets with holsters and handguns? How will concealed carry affect colleges and universities in the Chicago area such as DePaul? The classes for the concealed carry permit will cost around $350 dollars; are there and programs for people in low-income households?
