Remember, you get what you vote for
Well, there wasn’t time to work on pension reform. But there was time for Mr. Madigan and Mr. Cullerton to file an appeal to stop Gov. Pat Quinn from keeping lawmakers’ pay on hold. Thanks to Judge Neil Cohen, the legislators will be paid, and now Appellate Judge Maureen E. Connors has denied Quinn’s motion for an appeal.
They say you get what you vote for. Well, these are a few names to remember when it is our turn to vote. After all, they keep the voters’ needs in mind, especially when they raise out taxes to fund the pensions. What a great state we live in.
