Trash old drugs in Lincolnshire:
You can safely trash old prescription drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26, in Lincolnshire. The Lincolnshire Police Department will participate in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Drug Take Back Initiative. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at village hall, One Olde Half Day Road. Expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications will be accepted. All materials that are collected, including containers, will be incinerated. Used intravenous solutions, injectable drugs and syringes will not be accepted due to potential blood-related hazards.
