Dist. 211 hosts art college and career expo

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 is hosting its art college and career expo from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Hoffman Estates High School, 1100 W. Higgins Road.

Several college representatives and professionals in varying art fields will be in attendance to speak with District 211 students. Fields that will be represented include biomedical visualization, fine art painting, graphic design, global marketing, illustration, industrial design and photojournalism.

Some colleges that will have representatives in attendance include Alberta College of Art and Design, American Academy of Art, Boston School of the Fine Arts, Columbia College Chicago, Illinois State University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Pratt Institute and Savannah College of Design.
