District 103 parent night Oct. 22

Lincolnshire-Prairieview Elementary District 103 will host a special Parent Information Night on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Daniel Wright Junior High School, 1370 N. Riverwoods Road in Lincolnshire. The purpose is to: Share information with District 103 parents about the Common Core State Standards in English/Language Arts and Math; and Discuss how these new, more rigorous standards are both integrating with the District 103 curriculum and impacting student assessments (e.g., 2013 ISAT, Fall 2013 MAP, etc.). Katie Reynolds, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at District 103, will lead the discussion, and a question-and-answer session will conclude the program.
