Fox Lake police searching for Ingleside man
Fox Lake police continue to search for an Ingleside man after his father reported him missing Monday.
Eric D. Walleck, 40, of the 500 block of Lincoln Ave., Ingleside, was last heard from Sunday night.
He’s described as 5-feet, 8-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes, and tattoos on both shoulders and his right forearm.
The younger Walleck had told his father, William Walleck, of McHenry, that masked men had entered his apartment on Saturday and threatened him.
Fox Lake police said in a statement that no complaints were filed with them regarding such a situation.
When his father couldn’t reach him, he went to his apartment and found the door unlocked and the car still in the parking lot. His cellphone was later found in the apartment, as well.
Eric Walleck has a history of “mental problems,” according to his father.
Officers from Fox Lake, Lake County sheriff’s deputies, and a K-9 unit from Wauconda conducted a search of the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
