Turn Your Radio On: Hymn Sing

Turn Your Radio On: Telling the Story of Jesus is the second of a two part musical celebration of vintage gospel radio. The evening's music will remind us of the impact these ministries had on the lives of millions of people through the years. The featured Radio Programs will be remembered with original soundtracks and nostalgic visual and audio features along with some of their original music.

The Hymn Sing is a time of worship in which everyone participates. Performers include: Sunday Night Singers, youth ensemble – “Praise2Him,” the Wells Family, John Hacker, Jack Schrader and other special guests accompanied by the Orchestra, pipe organ, and twin grand pianos.

The Hymn Sign Music Director, Glen Ramsborg, said, “This evening is a collaborative effort of hundreds of hours of research and production effort to help celebrate the Spirit of God ministering through these specific broadcasts.”

In years past, over 800 people have attended at one time, including over 80 different Chicago-land churches, 12 of which are represented in the choir.
