St. Francis d. St. Edward: Katie Swanson had 6 kills and 4 digs to lead St. Edward in a 25-16, 25-20 Suburban Christian loss. Allison Kruk had 8 digs and Mallory Gross added 7 assists and 4 digs for the Green Wave (11-8).
U-High d. Elgin Academy: Kaitlyn Pearson had 8 kills and 6 digs for Elgin Academy in a 25-7, 25-16 Independent School League loss. Lizzie Clements added 3 kills, 8 digs and 5 aces and Sophie Borchard had 9 digs for the Hilltoppers.
Westminster Christian d. Indian Creek: Savannah Dutcher had 15 kills, 2 blocks and 3 aces to lead the Warriors to a 25-18, 23-25, 25-23 nonconference win. Claire Speweik added 12 kills, 18 assists and an ace for Westminster (12-5-3) and Emma Kovachevich had 11 assists and 2 aces.
