Hawthorn Woods seeks input

The village of Hawthorn Woods is seeking resident input on its new comprehensive plan at an Oct. 9 business workshop from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and at an Oct. 16 community workshop, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Both are at village hall, 2 Lagoon Drive. The village is working with the professional consulting firm of Houseal Lavigne Associates to develop the new comprehensive plan. Community input will be important. The comprehensive plan will serve as the official guide for land use, physical improvement, and investment. These workshops are the first of several face-to-face community outreach events scheduled throughout the planning process. The purpose of the first workshop is to allow residents and businesses of Hawthorn Woods to voice what they value most about the community and the issues they would like to see addressed.
