Focus on fit feet at BACOA luncheon

Dr. James Baird, DPM, is the featured guest speaker at the Barrington Area Council on Aging’s sixth annual awareness luncheon, “Celebrating the F Words: Fabulously Fit Feet.” Dr. Baird is the director of Family Foot and Ankle Specialists in Barrington.

The event will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Makray Memorial Golf Club, 1010 S. Northwest Highway, Barrington. Whitehall of Deerfield will sponsor the event.

Cost is $40 per person; a cash bar will also be available.

Dr. Baird, a Barrington High School graduate, is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He received his doctorate from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and completed his surgical residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center, an inner-city trauma center.
