Barrington improves to 9-1 in MSL
Freshman Reena Sulkar (39), freshman Shivani Majmuder (43), senior Kelly Umphred (43) and junior Bailee McDonald (45) led Barrington to victory in a tri meet with Elk Grove and Schaumburg at the Fox Run Golf Links in Elk Grove on Monday.
Coach Jodi Schoeck’s Fillies shot 170 and improved to 9-1 in the Mid-Suburban League. The Fillies host division leader Prospect on Thursday at Bonnie-Dundee Golf Club in Carpentersville.
Senior Marki Kaim (45) led the host Grens, who shot 215, with a 45. Senior Lindsay Leiber (54) was the top scorer for the Saxons (239).
Hoffman Estates d. Lake Park: Senior Maive Prusnick’s 49 led Hoffman Estates in a 213-239 victory at Highland Woods Golf Course in Hoffman Estates.
