Lake Villa man reported missing

Lake Villa police are looking for information about a missing 33-year-old man who has not been seen since Friday. Nicholas Steward was last seen driving a white 2008 Saturn, police said in a news release. He did not return home from work Friday, and a missing-person report was filed Saturday, according to police. Full story.

Lombard pilot recounts Lake Shore Drive landing

Lombard pilot John Pedersen escaped injury after a mechanical malfunction forced him to make an emergency landing of his small airplane along Lake Shore Drive near the Buckingham Fountain shortly after 6 a.m. “It felt like the aircraft was breaking up,” he said. Full story.

Naperville’s Calvary Church debuts new sanctuary

An enthusiastic crowd of roughly 5,000 fans heard Rose speak briefly between a performance by rapper Big Sean and various basketball entertainment. “I’m feeling good,” Rose said. “Right now my legs are good.
