Oktoberfest returns to Libertyville

MainStreet Libertyville hosts its annual Oktoberfest from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, under the big top tent on Church Street.

A perennial community favorite, this year’s fundraiser offers delicious German food, seasonal German beverages from Mickey Finn’s Brewery and a selection of wines.

From 4 to 6 p.m., families are encouraged to join in the fun with Music Now DJ Group hosting games and events for the children. That will be followed by some authentic German music from Steve’s Bavarian Oompah band.

Later in the evening, CoverGurl will entertain on the big stage with selections of current and classic rock music.

Admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets are available at the MainStreet office at 160 E. Cook and online while supplies last.

When purchasing admission tickets online, you will receive an email which must be presented at the entrance for admittance. Children are free to attend.
