Championship Automotive Event to Benefit St. Jude in Schaumburg September 22
BGV Motorsports presents the Chicagoland All Wheel Show Series Championship Event, a competitive, invitation-only automotive show, on Sunday, September 22, 2013, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at host venues, Finn McCool's Irish Sports Pub and Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria. All car, truck, and motorcycle winners from the four 2013 Chicagoland All Wheel Show events will be invited to compete in the show. One hundred percent of the entry fees will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Entry fees will be a $25 personal donation or $100 or more in collected sponsorship. Other noncompeting show cars, trucks, and motorcycles may attend and park at the event for a $10 donation to St. Jude. A prize package will be available for the top three fundraising show competitors. The Caitlin Dickey Top Fundraiser Award will be presented to the top fundraising competitor, in honor of a nine year old girl who lost her five year battle with a brain tumor on May 17. The Grand Champion Vehicle and Motorcycle will be featured in their own display at the 2013 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals event at the Donald E. Stephens Center in Rosemont on November 23 and 24 of 2013. The Chicagoland All Wheel Show Series Platinum Sponsor is Ledfoot News. The Chicagoland All Wheel Show Championship Event is a newly added event in 2013 to the Chicagoland All Wheel Show Series. “What makes our Championship Event unique is that you must win Competitors' Choice or First or Second Place Judged in one of 25 automotive classes at one of our regional events, May through August of 2013, to compete in the show” said Steve Howorka, President of BGV Motorsports. “It is our goal to raise at least $10,000 for St. Jude”, said Howorka.
