Warren makes strides, edges Stevenson

Warren d. Stevenson: At Half Day Forest Preserve, Warren got a 25-32 win. Adam Shurson of Warren finished third with a 15:50 while Sam Oh from Stevenson took first with a 15:21.

Libertyville wins: Libertyville defeated Grant (24-33) and Zion-Benton (24-33) at Adler Park in Libertyville. Pat Humen of Libertyville took first place with a 16:16 while Dalyn Romig was Grant’s top finisher. He placed fourth with a 16:49.

Vernon Hills wins: Vernon Hills defeated Lakes (16-47) and Wauconda (15-50). Kyle Whitney took first place (16:15) as Vernon Hills finished in the top four spots. James Burchard was the top finisher for Lakes. He placed fifth with a 16:27. Austin Pequemo (17:33) finished ninth for Wauconda.

Antioch d. Round Lake: Dan Ressler took first place with a 17:29 to lead Antioch to a 19-40 victory over Round Lake. Andrew Maskevich led Round Lake. He placed fourth with a 18:04.
