Course record for Vernon Hills’ Overbeck
Vernon Hills wins: At Vernon Hills, Vivian Overbeck set a new course record (18:58) as Vernon Hills defeated Wauconda (15-50) and Lakes (19-44). Courtney Schardt of Lakes finished second (19:02) while Ashley Heath of Wauconda took 11th place with a 21:11.
Libertyville wins: Libertyville defeated Grant (19-40) and Zion-Benton (17-44) at Adler Park in Libertyville. Hannah Manetsch of Libertyville won a tight race with a 20:07 while Lindsey Lewis took third for Grant with a 20:09. Kristi Del Prato of Libertyville finished second with a 20:08.
Antioch d. Round Lake: Ashley LaPointe took first place with a 21:03 to lead Antioch to a 16-44 victory over Round Lake. Vicky Villa finished fifth for Round Lake with a 23:08.
