Harvest Christian d. Elgin: Harvest Christian (5-6) beat Elgin in two, 25-12 and 25-9, in nonconference action. Sydney Doby led Harvest Christian with 11 kills, 5 digs and a block. Shayna Manusos (19 digs, 1 kill), Mikayla Robinson (6 kills) and Jade Martinez (21 assists) also did well for Harvest Christian.
Westminster Christian d. Mooseheart: The Warriors (7-1-3) defeated Mooseheart 25-9, 25-10 with Claire Speweik (3 aces, 4 kills, 8 assists), Savannah Dutcher (7 kills) leading the way. Emma Kovachevich had 4 aces, 4 assists, Courtney Gnan added 5 aces and Emily Beachler registered 4 kills.
Burlington Central d. Genoa-Kingston: Burlington Central (7-3, 2-0) defeated the Cogs 25-16, 25-21 in Big Northern East action. Allie O’Reilly finished with 26 digs and 11 service points for the Rockets. Makenna Jensen (8 kills, 8 blocks), Emily Bozich (6 kills), Jenna Schudel (6 kills) and Maddy Berry (2 aces, 21 assists) also aided in the victory.
Waubonsie Valley d. Bartlett: The Hawks (3-11-1, 0-1) dropped their first Upstate Eight Valley game of the season 25-17, 25-19. Katie Hrbacek’s 8 digs and 4 kills led Bartlett. Jenna Kummerer also had 8 digs for Bartlett and Danielle Santucci added 8 assists.
Larkin d. Streamwood: The Royals (10-6, 1-1) defeated the Sabres 25-20, 25-15 in Upstate Eight River action. Larkin was led by Olivia Kofie (5 kills, 3 aces), Brianna Stewart (8 kills, 2 blocks), Paige Grantham (3 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks) and Alyssa McGhee (12 assists, 3 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace).
Prairie Ridge d. Dundee-Crown: The Chargers (8-7, 1-2) dropped a Fox Valley Conference Valley tilt to Prairie Ridge 25-17, 25-13. Kaylee Sommers (3 kills, 3 digs), Frankie Cavallaro (10 assists, 2 blocks), Lauren Lococo (9 digs, 3 kills), Kiana Mays (5 kills) and Ashley Raby (3 kills) led Dundee-Crown.
Crystal Lake South d. McHenry: The Gators (10-1) improved to 4-0 in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division as Carly Nolan had 7 kills, Nicole Slimko registered 5 and Casey Sivesind added 21 assists against the Warriors. Tori Falbo also had 6 digs for CLS.
