Family Planting Day in Barrington Saturday
The Barrington Area Conservation Trust will hold a Family Planting Day fundraising event from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Hart and Lake-Cook roads. A $100 tax-deductible donation is required, which includes a one-year membership to the trust. Bring your family and your gardening gloves. Your family donation includes an area to plant, native plants, plaques, plaque-decorating supplies and snacks for the family. Plaques will stay on each plot for one year.
