BMX show in Hanover Park carries anti-bullying message

Professional BMX rider and America’s Got Talent semifinalist Matt Wilhelm entertained students Friday at Horizon Elementary school in Hanover Park, and imparted a message as well.

Wilhelm was the star of two stunt-filled school assemblies whose purpose was to inform students about bullying, perseverance, bike safety and character.

He shared his own story about overcoming bullying, and his journey to earning three X-Games Medals, two national championships and a reputation as the fastest spinner in the world on a BMX bike.
