Perkins, Zaucha lead Hersey victory
Hersey’s girls golf team posted a 188-219 victory over St. Viator on Monday at the Old Orchard Country Club in Mt Prospect.
Lindsay Perkins and Alysia Zaucha led Hersey with 46s, while Lexi Heidkamp (48) and Megan Kopney completed the Huskies’ scorecard.
Top Viator scores were Dana Gattone (39), Paige Patano (55), Courtney Christophe (62) and Maddie McAteer (63).
Conant d. Elk Grove: Carly Byreans shot a 44 on the front nine at Fox Run Golf Course to lead Conant to its 196-203 triumph over Elk Grove.
Byreans was followed by teammates Chloe Kramer (49), Megan Nagorzanski (51), Lindsey Rayner (52) and Tida Bowers (52).
Leading Elk Grove were Marki Kaim (48), Sarah Hartness (48), Erin Walz (50) and Mia Loxley (57).
