Let’s aid the poor, not spend money on bombs

I am so disappointed. We are actually thinking about bombing another country. Spending billions of dollars for bombs when we can’t finance our own country. Our schools are second rate, we can’t support our Social Security. It costs a family their retirement security to send their children to college.

There are countries we can help without bombing more innocent people. There are children in Africa who are dying of malaria because they don`t have a $10 net to sleep under. What about the children in Haiti? If we are going to send our money to another country, lets send it where it will do some good, rather than where we only cause destruction.

I am so sad for the people of Syria, but I don`t think our spending more money on bombs is the answer. We never seem to consider what it costs the American people, and it does affect us all in so many ways. I will pray that our government makes the right decision and pray for the people of Syria.
