Wisconsin launches latest season of Fall Color Report

MADISON, Wis. — Autumn is just around the corner, and with it comes another launch of Wisconsin’s Fall Color Report.

The report has been posted at TravelWisconsin.com. Visitors can click on an interactive map to find out where foliage has started to change color and how far along the change is.

The map draws upon observations from more than 100 fall-color reporters across the state. Officials from visitor bureaus, tourism organizations and state parks and forests can update their area’s status as conditions change.

The report also has tabs showing nearby events and lodging, travel tips for scenic drives and local travel information.

You can access the report on a computer, smartphone or tablet. You can also sign up to have the report emailed to you every Thursday in time to make weekend plans.
