Natalie Schilling had 11 kills and Meg DeMaar 15 digs and 2 aces, leading No. 5 Glenbard West to a season-opening 25-21, 25-15 win over West Chicago on Tuesday. Katie Ball added 6 kills and 8 digs for the Hilltoppers.
Downers Grove North d. Marian Catholic:Katherine Mahlke had 7 kills, Lexi May 5 kills and Mary Helen Beacom 19 assists, and the Trojans won their season opener 25-16, 25-22.
