Sikich ranked on Inc.’s 500/5000 list

NAPERVILLE — Accounting, advisory, investment banking, technology and managed services firm Sikich LLP has been ranked on the Inc. 500/5000, a list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

It is the first time Sikich has made the list and was ranked at 4,627.

“We are honored to be recognized on one of the most prominent lists of fastest-growing companies throughout the United States,” said Jim Sikich, CEO and managing partner of Sikich. “Our presence on the Inc. 500/5000 demonstrates our commitment to what we have been working toward for the past 30 years — hiring top candidates and expanding our service offerings and resources to benefit the ultimate business goals of our clients. The firm would not be where it is today without the support of our clients, employees, partners and community.”

In addition to 47 percent growth over the past three years, Sikich has also increased its personnel count by nearly 50 percent. Engaging in regular mergers and acquisitions has allowed the firm to expand into new geographic markets, offer new services and bring in fresh resources. In 2013, Sikich began operations in two new markets in Houston and Milwaukee, and added three new services — supply chain, public relations and insurance.

The firm expects that its M&A activity is not complete.

“The past few years have been extraordinary in terms of firm growth, but our drive to seek new organic and inorganic opportunities for future years is high,” said Stan Logan, COO and partner. “By the end of 2013, we expect to see an increase in revenue of at least 14 percent. Being recognized on the Inc. 500/5000 confirms that the growth strategy we have set in place will continue to strengthen our firm, and therefore, will strengthen our clients’ businesses as well.”
