Forecast calling for temperatures to soar this week

Summer might be winding down, but the forecast is calling for temperatures to ramp up this week.

High temperatures are expected to break the 90 degree mark today and Tuesday, according to weather.com.

Factor in the humidity, and it could feel like more than 100 degrees outside the next two days.

We will get a little relief on Wednesday, with highs expected in the low 80s, but high temperatures are expected to climb to around 90 through the rest of the week.

The best chance for precipitation this week is Friday and Saturday, according to weather.com. Both days have a 30-percent chance of thunderstorms, according to the website.
