Naperville cops investigating several burglaries

Naperville police are seeking the public’s help to solve several burglaries reported this month.

In the first, burglars escaped with about $5,000 worth of tools from a construction site on the night of Aug. 8 on the 2800 block of Patriots Lane.

About a week later, two day-care facilities were burglarized in the overnight hours of Aug. 14, one on the 800 block of Benedetti Drive and the other on the 1200 block of West Ogden Avenue. In both cases, the burglars escaped with cash.

The last burglary occurred the weekend of Aug. 16 through 19 when intruders made off with roughly $9,000 worth of tools from a construction site on the 2400 block of West Diehl Road.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests in any of the burglaries. Anyone with information is asked to call (630) 420-6006. Callers may remain anonymous.
