Chicago Fire scouting report vs. KC
Fire scouting report
Sporting Kansas City at Chicago Fire, 7:30 p.m. Friday at Toyota Park
TV: NBC Sports Network
Scouting Sporting Kansas City: First-place Sporting (11-8-6, 39 points) has lost three of its last four games, in part because of injuries to Kei Kamara and all-star Graham Zusi. Zusi is expected back for this game, but Kamara is not. Claudio Bieler leads the team with 9 goals.
Scouting the Fire: The Fire (9-10-4, 31 points) will be without coach Frank Klopas, assistant coach Leo Percovich and central defender Bakary Soumare, all suspended for this game. Patrick Nyarko and Chris Rolfe have recovered from injuries enough to be available for selection but might not start due to lack of fitness. Three points are critical for the seventh-place Fire as it tries to climb into a playoff spot.
