About noon Tuesday, a man approximately 45 years old and a boy about 10 approached the woman outside her home near Route 53 and Maple Avenue. The older man began asking the victim questions while the boy sneaked into the garage and stole the woman’s purse, police said.

The thieves left in a white sedan, police said.
