Teen film fest tonight at Arlington Heights library

The 7th annual Arlington Heights Teen Film Fest wraps up tonight with a screening of all the winning films, 7-9 p.m. at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. Red carpet interviews with all the filmmakers will be held 6-6:45 p.m. with viewing starting at 7 p.m.

Please note: To correct an item in Friday's Neighbor section, the event is being held at the library, not at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre.

Films are judged by Metropolis's own screenwriter and resident playwright Scott Woldman, Arlington Heights Art Commissioner Toni Higgins-Thrash and Daily Herald film critic, Dann Gire.

All filmmakers, their families, friends and members of the public are invited. The event is free.

Complete details of the contest are at http://ahml.info/teens/filmfest. The contest is co-sponsored by the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre and Arlington Heights Art Commission.
